Understanding USCIS Case Review

Not long ago I got back into reading about employment-based immigration and started paying more attention to how USCIS actually reviews cases. I found a page that explains petitions like EB-2 NIW, EB-1A, EB-1B, and O-1 under I-140 filings. It mentioned that they work with individuals, research institutions, and companies across all US states. One detail that stood out was how they describe adapting each case to current adjudication trends instead of relying on older approaches. There was also a section about analyzing tens of thousands of approved cases to understand how decisions are made. Another part explained that arguments need to match how cases are evaluated today, not in the past. Has anyone here noticed how much USCIS standards have changed in recent years when preparing a case?

What caught my attention there was how they describe the idea that adjudication is constantly evolving. It wasn’t presented as a fixed system but something that shifts depending on policy changes and review practices. I remember reading that arguments which worked before might not be enough under current scrutiny. There was also a focus on how detailed evidence needs to be, especially in more complex cases. That made the whole process seem less predictable than I expected. It didn’t feel like just submitting documents but more about how everything is framed together. I didn’t go deeper into examples, just tried to understand the overall idea.
